Explore the Barossa Valley with the kids

When you think of the Barossa Valley, you may just think of the wine.

But, it’s not just a place for the adults!

Check out the treehouse with a difference in Springton – it was the first home of Johann Friedrich Herbig, his wife and two (of his 16) children.

Try your hand a South Australia’s largest mini-golf course with 18 holes of challenging putting at Barossa Bowland and Mini Golf – yep, there’s bowling too!

Have you heard about the Whispering Wall?

Located at Williamstown, the local landmark got its name due to the amazing acoustics!

A whisper from one end if clearly heard from more than 100 metres away!

And for something a little more educational, there’s plenty of historical attractions to visit.

The Barossa Historical Museum is located in Tanunda – the Post Office from 1865.

Luhrs Cottage found at Light Pass shows what early life was like settling in South Australia.

And the boys will love the Greenock Aviation Museum, featuring replica aircraft and general aviation memorabilia.

That’s just a few highlights for your next stop with the kids at the Barossa Valley.
