Coffin Bay Day on the Bay

Next week Sunday 29th September the Coffin Bay Day on the Bay is due to take place with locals and visitors invited to join the town in a day of delicious food and wine.

This year will be The Day on the Bay’s 4th year running with it expected to be bigger and better.

Six local venues will be participating in the event including The Coffin Bay Yacht Club, Beach Comber, 1802 Oyster Bar, Coffin Bay Sporting Club, The Coffin Bay Hotel and newly added this year Oyster HQ.

The event is expected to see a usual turn out of around 2000 people over the day between 11 am and 4 pm.

A bus will be organised from Port Lincoln and also Cummins for the around the region interested in joining the day.

The buses are expected to leave at 10:10 am from the Makybe Diva Statu on the Port Lincoln Foreshore and Bendigo Bank Branch in Cummins.

Locals can purchase their bus tickets, including return, at the SA tickets website. 

Event organiser and Day on the Bay Committee Member Ian Beebs says it’s an event not to be missed with an exceptional variety of local food, wine and entertainment provided on the day.
