SA Winery Wins Organic Business of the Year

Long-standing Riverland winery Angove has recently picked up a national award for their work with organic wine.

The local winery picked up the “Business of the year” at the recent Australian organic industry awards.

Chairman of the company and 4^th generation winemaker, John Angove spoke to 5RM’s Lachie Winnall this morning to discuss what has been a big journey for the over 100 year old Riverland business.

“It was a nice commendation for what has been a fair few years slogging away at the organic game,” John Angove told 5RM.

“It goes back about 12 years when we started to thinks whether organic was something we ought to get into.”
