Lake Breeze is one of Australia’s most awarded boutique wineries. It’s also the location of many fantastic events including race days such as the Melbourne Cup and music festivals too, such as the Handpicked Festival. It also features a fantastic Bed and Breakfast known as The Creek Cottage.
The Follett family have been grape growers in Langhorne Creek for over 120 years and winemakers for 28 years and have rapidly built an enviable reputation for consistently producing outstanding wines.
The varieties grown on the vineyard include Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Chardonnay, with small blocks of Grenache, Merlot, Petit Verdot and White Frontignac.
Lake Breeze selects only the best 30-40% of fruit from the older vines on the property, to create wines with amazing depth of flavour. These wines include the highly acclaimed ‘Bernoota’ [Shiraz/Cabernet], Cabernet Sauvignon, Arthur’s Reserve and Winemaker’s Selection Shiraz labels.
Lake Breeze has achieved an extraordinary level of success in Australian Wine Shows, including 39 TROPHIES and 140 GOLD MEDALS, since 1994.
