Coffin Bay has been voted number 10 in the top 10 towns in Australia by the Australian Traveller Magazine.

The small town not far from Port Lincoln was voted number 38 back in 2009 but 10 years later has moved up 28 spots on the list and is now in the top 10 according to the magazine.

The Australian Traveller Magazine highlights Coffin Bay is known for its divine oysters and 1802 Oyster Bar, but also its unique and beautiful location.

“It is one of the most idyllic settings in the whole of Australia, and it’s something Australians don’t get to see, the whole Eyre Peninsula, which is just unbelievable,” Quentin Long from Australian Traveller Magazine told Channel Nine’s Today TV show.
