The world famous Barossa Valley needs little introduction, least of all for South Australians.
It is without doubt the state’s biggest drawcards and one of its most loved and admired regions.
The Valley is home to some of our most renowned labels and a world leading region in the wine industry.
Just a quick drive from Adelaide, the region centres on the town of Tanunda, among others, and draws tens of thousands of locals and visitors every year.
Bus tours are readily available for those who want to do more than just taste a few drops and there is no shortage of world class dining in the area.
It’s the perfect distance for a day trip but it’s well worth spending an entire weekend or longer as well.
The area is also home to some beautiful and unique accommodation so it’s no surprise the Barossa remains one of, if not the, most beloved holiday spot in all of South Australia.
